What “verified” should mean in a beauty catalog
A source-first approach to product discovery.
A useful K-beauty catalog must do more than repeat a retailer description. The meaningful work is identifying which market and formula a statement belongs to, preserving the original source, and showing when a person last reviewed it.
Dewpick separates source collection, normalization, review, publication, and change detection. Formula, regulatory and image reviews are separate from the owner-authorized shopping lineup. A shopping link is not a certification of ingredients, efficacy or suitability.
That produces fewer pages than automated scraping, but each published page can offer a distinct source trail, formula version, comparison context, and current seller check.
